I’ve posted a new video, well, two actually. One is an introduction to my short story, JaneBishop’s Eyes, included in the Spinster’s Ink anthology, All in the Seasoning and the other is me reading the story. I hope you all enjoy it.
This has been a really rough holiday for me, even above the year long covid isolation and life changes from the pandemic. My dear cousin Freda died during this time, as well as my Uncle Buster. Most of my father’s family has passed away and now my mother’s family is going away too fast. Tough times that led to a really subdued December 25th.
In addition, my older sister and her family has battled covid-19 this past month. They’re all okay now but my brother in law was hospitalized for a while.
Soooo, I am trying very hard to get back to my editing/writing schedule and feel positive about it. Upswing is the word I think a lot. Upswing.
So, enjoy the story and think about the gifts life brings to us. May we all do well with them and may 2021 be a better year for us all. Chris and I are planning a looong fall beach vacation to spend time with some of the precious family we have left. I also plan to visit my brother in Florida and give my stamp of approval on his new house and my sis in law’s new job. LOL
